Here we are, a few days into fall already! Now that our summer is “officially over” and we’re preparing to “kiss it away”, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on a few of the many moments we’ve shared the past couple of months.
MY BIRTHDAY!!! 
I’m a total Leo girl who just so happens to share the same birthday week as Donnie! WOO!!! My birthday was extra special this year because of my #ddubgirlsgonewild sisters! These girls literally started tweeting Donnie when the clock struck 12 and kept on tweeting him ALL DAY LONG! It was a busy day at work for me, so I’d check in periodically to see if I got that special birthday shout-out from the man himself. My girls were getting thrown in #twitterjail one by one! They were working their asses off for that tweet! It was getting close to the end of the work day and I had a few minutes to spare, so I took it upon myself to tweet Donnie. Sure enough, he sees my ONE tweet to him and replies with that long awaited birthday tweet! LOL 
The girls and I couldn’t help but laugh that after all their hard work and time served in #twitterjail, all it took was one random tweet from me asking him my damn self. You know Donnie, he works in mysterious ways! LOL By the way, a special delivery of flowers arrived at my office signed by Amanda, Amity, Jen, Tabitha…and of course Donnie!
Sooooooo thoughtful & seeing his name on the card gave me good laugh. I love you girls! THANK YOU AGAIN & AGAIN for making my birthday so special!!!
5/5 FOLLOWS!!! As most of you are aware, all 5 of us are lucky enough to have Donnie follows. But I have to say, I truly love the story behind Amity’s & Tabitha’s follows! They were the last 2 #ddubgirlsgonewild without a Donnie follow, so that meant the other 3 of us had to do everything we could to get Donnie to notice them! We all tweeted him and re-tweeted tweets, and we took turns at different times of the day…I’m a late night tweeter, while Jen is an early bird. On the morning of August 8th Jen was the only one of us awake when Donnie popped online to Rise & Grind. She was flying solo but that didn’t stop her! She started firing off tweets to Donnie, asking him to follow Amity & Tabitha to complete his #ddubgirlsgonewild collection. Then it happened! He followed them both, one right after the other! Jen was so damn excited she called me & woke me up to share the excitement! That’s our Mama Bear!!! And of course, on August 30th, Donnie started following our group twitter account @ddubggw. We are officially convinced that he sees us, he knows who we are, and he LOVES us! LOL
CRUISE VIRGINS NO MORE!!! The last big thing to happen this summer, aside from us virtually meeting each other, forming #ddubgirlsgonewild, and starting our blog (busy summer!)…we’ve all got our spots on the 2012 NKOTB Cruise! We are soooo excited and have already started making our plans. I’m sure our plans will go into overdrive come spring time! I am so completely excited about this cruise, to meet NKOTB, and to finally meet these girls with whom I talk to every single day & share a special bond with. You are my sisters, and even when a couple of us are MIA for while dealing with the realities of life, you know we’ll always be here for each other! We are more than Blockhead sisters, we are #ddubgirlsgonewild!!!
So as sad as I was to see our FUN summer come to an end, I am so looking forward to everything that lies ahead! Besides the cruise, Jen & I have decided we needed a DDub-fix sooner than next summer…since Donnie is busy working on the east coast and can’t really spend time in the midwest, we’ve decided to bring Chicago to him!!! Soooo we’ve purchased our plane tickets to NYC and will be visiting him on set of “Blue Bloods” in November!!! We are SO EXCITED and have a million things to do in a short amount of time. We will most definitely blog about our entire experience! I can’t wait!!!
